I have this monitor, and have loved it, until...it developed black lines over part of the screen. They get darker and lighter, but are always there, which is disconcerting. Would anyone know if this is repairable, or does it go into the trash?

Welcome to the forums!

Try resetting to factory specs with the keys on the monitor.
It may not be a monitor problem, but a graphics card problem.
Try a different monitor and video card.
