I have a VersaLink327W router. I am looking to get into the command line but I am not sure how to through HyperTerminal without using a COM1 port, because I do not have a line to connect it that way. I was going to use TCP/IP's method, but the default port is 23, and I am not sure how to change that.

If there is a way to get into it through entering your default gateway (192.168.1.1 through your browser's address bar) it would be useful if someone could help me out.

Thanks.

I probably cant help with your question but if you make a better title for your thread your chance of getting more views/replies will increase. "Router Question" is to general, try something like "Accessing VersaLink327W Router Commandline" or something like that, try to be specific enough to let people know exactly what you need to know and you will get more replies.

-Best of Luck :)
