I have a Sony Vaio VGN-NW225F laptop

It comes stocked with 3 gigs of memory, both banks (2) are being used by those chips. They are SO-DIMM DDR2 800 6400 chips.

Question is, how do I know the limit in memory I can install? I was thinking of going with 2 4gig chips fromn newegg.

Any advice?

Go to Crucial and imput your type of laptop by manufacturer, model...etc and it will tell you the limit :)
