Hi all,

I have a Vista PC with ATI HD3650 with 2 DVIs connected to two 19” LCDs, I would like to get another 19” LCD connected.

I don’t have any PCI-E slots free, only PCI ports. But have been told old ATI PCI cards don’t support Vista and its not good to mix nVidia cards because of driver problems.

Can I get a old PCI ATI card and get it to run using generic vista drivers or will that affect the display even on the 3650?

Other option is USB to DVI..

Its not for gaming, Help :D

Welcome to the forums!

You can't mix Nvidia and ATI.
If the Windows ATI driver recognizes the PCI card, you are fine.
It will not affect your 3650.
Aero will probably not work in Vista.
You may have to lower the version of the ATI driver you are using.
