I put together my rig last night and went to see if it would boot, only to be greeted with a post error 68, which would eventually go to 3F and reboot, repeating forever.
My specs are:
EVGA E758-A1 3-Way SLI
Intel Core i7-920 Bloomfield 2.66GHz LGA 1366
CORSAIR XMS3 12GB (6 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
EVGA 017-P3-1175-AR GeForce GTX 275 1792MB 448-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0
Creative 70SB088000004 7.1 Channels PCI Express 1x Interface PCI Express Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium
Western Digital VelociRaptor WD3000HLFS 300GB
LITE-ON Black 24X DVD Writer Black SATA Model
Everything I am reading is leading me to believe it is a bad RAM DIMM slot.
If anyone has had a similar problem I would greatly appreciate knowing what your issue was, and how you resolved it. I am really hoping that my Mobo and CPU aren't compromised.
