I have a ati 4879 X2 that was working on air cooling and i now water cools it and wil will not display. Is there a lumper or soming i have to do to it now that there is not a fam running on it.

Because you're working with Water my first sugestion is check for leaks/short circuits.

no leaks it worked when i put it back together just not with water cooler

Not likely a leak, you have to make sure all of the components that need cooling are cooled and make sure there is no shorts where the water block contacts the board, also too much heat sink compound will overflow and cause a short on some of the chips. Read the instructions carefully and make sure all the heat sinks are installed exactly where specified.

I suggest you post this in the Cooler & Heatsink section.

My guess is you have a short. Also did you plug in the PCIe power? Also, did you set the primary display to PCIe (esp. if you have a board with integrated graphics)?

thanks every one but i destroyed my card fcuk o way i just ordered 2 of the 4890 s like this. with the water cooler already on it and tested i will nor burn it out or shot it like i did. ( it was like one of those magic tricks with the little puff of smock heheh sucked)
