Hello there..

First I was planning to buy the 4870 1gb for $149 but then I got some extra cash to buy the 4890 $199 ...
so there is a $50 of difference....
Are those $50 worth spending for the 4890 or should I buy the 4870??

specs:
core 7 920 oc 3.6
6gb
1920x1200

ohh and Im not planning to overclock the cards

yeah ... the 4870 is very attractive for that price, but I think is kind of old... the diferrence between those in most reviews are like 3-8 fps...
maybe if is not to hard I´ll overclock it ... but even if I could I think I would stay with the clock speeds...

the 4890 is like an overclock 4870?? is there anything different??

From every thing I've read (I don't own a 4890) the stock 4890 is very easily overclocked. I would rather buy a stock card and overclock myself but I can see how some would rather have the peace of mind with a factory overclocked model. The choice is yours.
