Hi TH community, I just joined this site because I need help with my pc build.
I'm really new to this and what I picked is really expensive, so it would be pretty disappointing if I bought this and suddenly something went wrong.
So I have some newb questions.
1. Are these parts compatible(Like, is the case to small or will the GPU fit in the motherboard, stuff like that)??
2. Should I keep this GPU or get XFX version(XFX has 896mb, not 1792)??
3. Should I keep this RAM or wait for the 1600MHZ(They are sold out at the moment)??
4. Am I missing something and do you have any suggestions??
I'm buying my tech from this site www.m79.lv, so if they don't have it, I can't buy it.
GPU: go with the 1792 mb... itll be better, and does it cost much more? and are u going to go SLI? i just don't know if the 750W will be big enough for 275 SLi, tho id say it would be
GPU size: it will definitely fit in everything: mobo and case, tho u may have to move the hdd to the bottom bay, rather than the top
about the ram: are u going to OC the CPU? and if so to what speed? and if u are going to OC the CPU, what cooler are u going to use?
^ there will only be an increase at 2560x1600+ and the 750w can support dual 4890's which use more energy than '275's so it will easily take two 275's.
do u plan on OCing? and by 2560x1600+, he means screen resolutions. with bigger screens, greater GPU power is needed, and therefore SLi helps. but as ur screen res is 1920x1200, dont worry about 2 GPU of the gtx 275.
Thanks!!!
I'm still having second thoughts about the GPU.
I was researching and I couldn't find anything on club 3d video card's, except one guy who was saying that he needed to underclock he's club 3d video card to get it to work.
XFX on the other hand are pretty high quality GPU's, but m79 doesn't have 1792MB version.
What should I do??
AAAHHH!!!
I hate this choice!!
ok then... get whatever... XFX is good brand... sorry for misreading u b4 helloworld_98... i thought u meant that SLi was only good for bigger res, not the vram amount of memory
