I'm not sure what to tell you on the internet dropping problem. That kind of problem could be anything from a modem/router issue to the onboard NIC. You might want to post your question in the networking section of the forum. Has Vista found an updated driver for your NIC through Windows Update?

Try disconnecting from your connection/disabling connection, resetting your modem (and router if you're using one), wait for all the lights to flash normal again, then reconnect to your connection.

I think it did and that was when it stopped working. I have installed the one from the cd i got with my motherboard and it reconnected so i am just gonna leave well enough alone right now. If it keeps happening i will try posting in the networking section. Thanks again. Can recommend a good graphics card for reasonable money. I am not a hardcore gamer but would like to play the new games with no problems. Thanks again.

I don't know what your budget is for the GPU, but you can get a 4850 for even cheaper:

POWERCOLOR AX4850 512MD3-DH Radeon HD 4850 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131125 $109.99 - $10 MIR

If you have more room in your budget than that you can step up to the 4870.
