60C eh? ... I always seem to have heat issues, must be my case or something.

I have a 2600k and I run Prime 95 for an hour and my CPU gets up to like 55C at 4.0 ghz ...

I guess could by my heatsink too, I'm using a Corsair H70

What kind of OC do you think i could reach with the cooler master 212 with dual fan and the antec 1200 V3 case. I know its the very case you run as well and with the extra two fans installed ill have 3 fans cooling my CPU

What case do you have? Running two fans on the H70?

I'm running both the fans. I'm running them exhaust though, which was told is the second best option, I just couldn't get my head around dumping the heat back into the case.

Other than that I'm running 5 other case fans.

what is the advantage of changing the FSB when you OC the 2600k. i heard you only change the multiplier. and what memory control does the 2600k support i heard its only 1066 and 1333

What case tho?

I have a coolermaster CM 690 Case.

Nvm, I just overclocked my processor to 4.3 ghz and the temps stayed the same ...

The heatsink just seems to not work very well at idle, but 4.3 ghz running for one hour with a max temp of 55C I can live with.

I'm good for now, thanks though Midget.

This case was actually purchased over three years ago and while it's not that great it's ok.

Next purchase will be a full sized case though, I'm too impatient to continually work in small spaces.

If your motherboard and memory are good enough, the CPU supports memory ratios up to DDR3-2133 in 266MHz intervals. Some boards have a DDR3-2400 option, but I've never seen a CPU's memory controller actually function at that ratio.

If the H70 is anything like the H50 and the pump plugs into the CPU fan controller on your MB you need to set it to 100% in bios, the pump is not desgined to run at anything less, that could be your temp issues right there.
