Windows 7. How much Ram would you recommend? What my friend is doing is using Flash and Photoshop with multiple large files open. He wants the system to be super fast when working with these types of files.

12 GB RAM is affordable, and you can save yourself some money to put towards it by going for a more sensible motherboard - you don't need 3-way SLI if you're just running a single GTX260.

Try the P6T motherboard as recommended by hefox. You can also save a few bucks by going for slower RAM - many tests from Toms and others show that RAM speed makes little difference on i7 systems, and tighter timings only help synthetic benches (although I have seen very marginal benefits on CS4 products).
