I got my MPx220 Cingular Smartphone about a month back and so far it's been
excellent. I didn't know whether the Internet Explorer browser included in
it would surf regular sites through Cingular's Internet connection but it
works well, albeit slow.
Interestingly, while I can browse regular internet web pages on it, I cannot
connect to to the MediaNet service in Internet Explorer's favorites. It
gives me an error message saying site cannot be found or along those lines.
Apparently it can't find the http://device.home webpage, which I assume an
internal site for Cingular's service.

yes i had the same problem.
i'm racking my brain as to how i fixed it....i saved a new favorite, and the
URL is super long..but i believe it is the same as the url you get when you
log on to MEdianet on the PC at home...
just not sure how i got it to my phone...
ugh, okay so that wasn't much help, but i do know it works...

I already do have that same ROM version, though it was already updated when
I got it. I have so much stuff on my phone it'd be a pain to restart
everything. I'll try this as a last resort, thanks.
