FYI you picked a crossfire only motherboard and an Nvidia GPU which could hamper future upgrades.

Pay for more and get the regular Asus P6T which supports CF AND SLI.
The GTX 260 is the not the same as the 285, the 285 is obviously better.
The i7 is MUCH better then the Phenom, only a TOTAL AMD fanboy would of told you that.
I would say you could save some cash and get the Sapphire 4890 Atomic Edition to get similar if not better results.
I don't think that PSU is enough - the 850W Corsair would give you headroom as well.

The GTX 260 would 'max out' many games, but it's not in the same league as the GTX 285. If the somebody meant "The Phenom II would not be a bottleneck in games for less", he was correct, otherwise, he's dreaming.

There have been some relatively recent complaints about Seagate drive reliability. You might consider the WD Caviar models.
