with 1000 U.S. dollars you can buy alot

Reply to HuntsMan

oh and maybe from newegg but not sure if they ship it out of states cuz i have not purchased anything from them yet but they are a good website to get stuff.

Reply to HuntsMan

Ok, the thing is that here in Uruguay, all new stuff is too much expensive, for example a quad core is about 800 US... that's why I need some help. I want to buy a new pc and a monitor, the TH260N of samsung. what pc do I need to use this monitor in the best way, and to play the newest games, thnx, sorry for my english...

Reply to klappen

well what do you wanna go with amd or intel ?

Reply to HuntsMan

mm sorry to be so insistant but really I don't have idea wich one is better for what, i'm totaly noob :S sorry

Reply to klappen

may be i can have a great pc for less money, I just want a pc that stands de newst games and a LCD HDTV 26' monitor

Reply to klappen

well amd is the cheaper way to go and do you have a case, keyboard, hard drives, mouse and all those main things or u need a full new pc?

Reply to HuntsMan

Ok, I'l prefer Intel for now. I got a mouse, and the keyboard of this pc, I will buy a new one but after, that I can buy it here. But all the hard drives I want to buy it in US

Reply to klappen

Your better of going amd with that budget, not to mention the markups that you talked about.

Reply to jonsy2k

yea amd and like 2 4890 graphic cards in crossfire and u should be able to play anything out there. i will look into the parts and ill try to find stuff for you but since u need, hard drives, power supply unit, case and all that is gonna add up pretty quick and you prolly would want good airflow in your case as well so you got good temps and maybe an aftermarket cooler for your cpu as the ones they come with are junk.

Reply to HuntsMan

haha ok, i understand half of what you said, but i'll wait for your answer. 2 questions, why not intel, and which ones are the 4890?? do they support a 26' HDTV monitor?

And thank you very much for your time

Reply to klappen

well intel is expensive and amd performs just as well for lower price. List the parts you need so i know what to look for.

Reply to HuntsMan

aa ok, mother, cpu, ram, graphic card, the case, all the stuff inside it :P, hard drive, if it is possible blu-ray drive. don't know what more do I need

wow thats expensive, you could buy and core 2 quad and ship it down to uraguay for much less that 800. but im not familiar with sites that ship out of the states

Hunt, I only need one of that graphic cards??

Reply to klappen

we'll see what everything comes up to, if you have some money left over, then you can get another 4890

Reply to HuntsMan

Ok, but for using the monitor I've told you it's enough with just one, it supports 1900 x 1200??

No. Not unless you get lucky and find someone who has tried it on your model board. Oem...
