That being said, if what you really mean is that you have a new computer with an Intel Core i3 processor and you want to install Windows XP on it even though the computer originally came with Windows 7 installed, you'll have to determine whether there are Windows XP drivers available for all of the various hardware devices in the computer, including the chip set (motherboard), video card, audio card, network adapter, etc., etc. Odds are if it's a brand-new computer, particularly a laptop, there may not be XP drivers available.
