I managed to pick up an Asusus Striker Extreme for a good price! But, I have heard alot of shitty stuff about the poor MOBO!
What Id like to know is :
Will Windows 7 64 bit run on this mobo?
Will I be able to run a quad core cpu?
Will I be able to run 8 gigs of ram?
Will I be able to run 2 ddr3 graphics cards in SLI config?

Please help!!

Win7 will run on alot of legacy hardware, it should work no problems.
What Quad CPU are you talking about? Q6x00, Q9xx0?
the board is listed at able to support DDR2 800mhz up to 8gigs.
SLI is what the board was made for, should be fine.

I am an owner of a recently cooked mobo.(it quit on me, going along with e8400 and Ram) I would say that it is a good mobo as long you don't do anything stupid. It is an enthusiast board with some nifty features. I would give it 4/5 stars for difficulty of OCing the e8400. Sometimes my settings don't even get saved even with changing to a new CMOS battery. Also, if yours is 680i chipset, you will have a FSB hole, where you set your FSB, you will not see any changes until you set it very high.

Hey, thanks for replying man!
Ok! this is what Im going to be running:
Asus Striker Extreme MOBO.
Antec Quattro 1000W PSU.
2X Asus Geforce GTS 250 (1gig).
Core 2 Quadro Q9650 CPU.
4X 2Gig OCZ Blade series 1066mhz ( I need to know if the MOBO can run this ram. I know it is listed to run 800mhz but I've read forums where the guys are running this ram. What do you think?)

All boxed in an Antec 1200.

that looks a good rig but if you haven't bought it yet, then consider i5/i7 because LGA 775 is EOL(End Of Life)

Well I am going to go the i7 route. It's just that I got this MOBO for a good price, so I thought it would be a nice project!

The Q9xx0 have problems working with Nvidia 680i chipset. The more desirable quad would Q6x00 series.

If you want a project on that board, just get yourself a nice dual core, especially an E8400, and see what you can do with it.

As for 1066mhz ram on that system, I'm pretty sure you can overclock memory to run at that speed. With the unlinked FSB/memory feature of the Nvidia chipset, it shouldn't be too hard.
