hi. you will have better luck with responses if you provide more detail about your needs, is this for gaming or homework or photoshop? Also a budget is important to discuss as well.

i want to use it for photoshop as well as for gaming ..
Budget is not a big problem if it makes a BIG effect in the performance..
Bozoz i already select Processor

1) if i use DDR2 (1066 mhz)
2) if i use DDR# (1333mhz)

thnx for your copration.

And im assuming you dont speak english well, better use a free translator, talk in the language your best in and translate to english, except with acronyms, (like RAM)

Ok, well DDR3 is better than DDR2, as its faster (im not much of a pro in RAM, but its faster)

DDR3 is better than DDR2 - sometimes. I am one of many here who believe that that a Core2 CPU such as the Q9550 cannot use all the capabilities of DDR3.

Next, DDR2-1066 is pretty much a waste of money. DDR2-1066 RAM is just DDR2-800 RAM that has been tested to run at 1066 speeds at slower memory timings.

The Q9550 has a Frontside Bus (FSB) frequency of 333 MHz. It has an 8.5 internal multiplier. 333 MHz X 8.5 = 2.83 GHz. The 1333 MHz. comes from the fact that the FSB transfers 4 data words into the CPU core each bus cycle (4 X 333 = 1333 MHz.)

DDR2 RAM transfers 2 chunks of data each FSB cycle. That means at stock speeds , you only need DDR2-667 RAM. So DDR2-800 RAM means you could run your FSB at 400 MHz giving you a CPU speed of 3.4 GHz which is a very nice overclock.

And it is another reason why DDR2-1066 is a waste of money.

Q9550 is a waste when we have a Phenom II 955 that performs much better and is architecturally superior for the same price. I would suggest an I7 or PII 965 if the budget allows, if not then 955.
