I have a Compaq Presario 5000 case and power supply just need a new motherboard and CPU. It can be a new duall core or P4 or AMD eqivulant. Can anyone help me I would relly appreciate it this is for my son to surf web and play kids games and PBS kids online games.

Your case should work with any micro atx motherboard. Newegg has some combo deals for around $110 that should work. They also have open box specials. I use frys combo deals, which are even better, but only available in stores, not online. Check memory prices before ordering any motherboard. I recommend AMD cpus with ddr3 if you can find an affordable board.
