  1. 4.2 can get kind of rough with Phenom II's. What kind of voltage are you putting through it? How much do you care about noise too? If you have a good chip where you're at about 1.45v and getting that speed, an Xigmatek Gaia or CM Hyper 212+ could easily do the trick. (I agree, H50 blows chunks) What're your current temps saxyd3?

  2. For $90 you can go with the Noctua NH-D14 that performs much better that your current H50 and even H70.

Thermalright Venomous X, Thermalright Silver Arrow or Thermalright Archon are very good too.
  3. Yeah, I'd suggest a silver arrow if your volts are way up there. Or the Cogage arrow if you can lap it and want to save some cash. Archon looks really cool, but I don't know how good it is off hand.
  4. Here's a good site to check out:

I like the thermalright suggestions. The Thermaltake frio is very good and $58:

    Spire Thermax Eclipse, $55:

  5. Not much spacing between socket and dimms on AMD platforms.
Best bet is a Thermalright,Noctua,or Prolimatech.
Visit their websites paying attention to your case width and ram height for fit.
  6. ^That's the problem with AMD and coolers, but according to the Noctua NH-D14 compatibility the mobo and the cooler fit without affect the RAM.

  7. Thanks for the link SAINT19!!! I've just spent the last 2 days fighting with Antec's Kuhler h20 920 and decided to send it back. All research indicate that the NH-D14 is the best air cooler on the market...even passing some h20 systems. Your link saved me time, money and effort.
