Hello fellow computer users. I run windows XP and I believe it is SP2. A few days ago, I made the horrible mistake of not turning off my computer properly (I held the button until it went off) and now it does the boot up but once it gets the the XP loading screen, it will restart and I have to go to square one. Pressing the F Combination keys has gotten me nowhere. Can any help?

I'm sorry for the triple post (that's usually frowned upon in forum communities) but does anyone have any idea what's wrong with my pc?

By Pressing the F Combination keys you mean tried to go into safe mode or last good known config?
Have U tried like this:
Hold (F8) at startup >the menu will appear :
Safe mode
Last good known config
Bla, bla, bla...

And the Disable auto restart option

None of them work? Or you can't get to them?
Doesn't even the last one work? Don't U get a blue error screen of the actual error with the last option?

Do you have a Win xp cd? :hello:

I don't think I have a disable startup repair option on mine. And yes, when I tried safe mode, once it got to the windows XP loading screen it would restart.
