Hi, I have a i5-750 and 4gb 1333ghz ram and a P75PPD asus motherboard.

Is it safe for me to overclock by just adjusting the thing to "160 MHz BCLK" and leaving everything else stock, I just want a mild overclock. Sorry for being a noob and if this is a dumb question.

Solution
It should work may need to raise your Vcore voltage slightly. What I would do is set it to 160 and multiplier to 18 (2.88), check for stability, then rase multiplier to 19 recheck then to the 20 - Raise Vcore if run into stability problem.
For stability check use prime 95, blend mode (Default) and monitor temps (I use CPUID HWMonitor).

I have the i5-750, But have the Gigabyte P55-UD4P MB and 16 gigs of DDR3-1600, CL7, @1.60 V. Currently have bcllk @ 200 and multiplier @ 16 with a small increase in Vcore (@work so can not say exact). With slighty more I'm stable upto 3.8.
