I run a lot of dual cpu motherboards in my systems. Mostly HP and Dell. I am looking to replace a motherboard and overclock one of the higher end Opteron pairs. Can I do it?

you can probably get a new motherboard for replacement, but even if you don't get it from HP/Dell you more than likely wont be able to OC on a server/workstation platforms since they are built forstability

though try to find some forums talking about OC'ing on certain workstation boards

Unless you have a solid reason for using a workstation board you are probably better off getting a consumer board and OCing...much better bang for your buck on the consumer end of things.
