Hi guys. I was having trouble getting my system to use the XMP settings for my RAM, but I finally got it to boot to Windows with the help of people here and some other forums. Here are my BIOS settings, and a CPU-z profile of my system.

I would like any/all suggestions if you see something set too high or low or anything I can do to improve my system now:

CPU Voltage: 1.25
VTT Voltage: 1.404
DRAM Voltage: 1.65 (even though CPU-z says the XMP uses 1.60v ???)
PCH: 1.10v
PLL: 1.80v

Also, when I enabled the XMP profile in BIOS, CPU-z still said the RAM's command rate was 1T, so I went into BIOS and manually changed it from 3T (???) to 2T, and now it works.

I've been running Prime95 for the past couple hours, no problems so far. If anyone is curious the cooler I'm using is the Hyper 212+ with a single fan.

I lowered the VTT to 1.35v, but now you make me want to lower it some more, which I'm going to do right now.

If I lower the DRAM voltage I get BSOD right when it starts loading Windows (7 64bit).

I will set the PCH on auto--how about PLL, can I put that auto too?

Hi guys, thanks tons for the feedback, I made the following changes:

CPU Voltage: 1.113
CPU VTT: 1.154
DRAM Voltage: 1.60

And it seems to be fine. I ran Prime95 for 5 hours last night and it didn't break 50c or give me any errors. I don't know why I was getting BSOD before I changed the DRAM voltage, but it appears to be working now.

I'm going to set my PLL voltage to auto now, I'll update if it breaks.

My RAM is rated at 2000mhz, I have this RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231412&Tpk=F3-16000CL9D-4GBTD

Those settings are WAY better haha.

The first voltages were crazy high.

As for the RAM, I actually find it a bit hard to believe 2000mhz CL9 at 1.6V would work. That must be some exceptional RAM! I don't know which P95 test you ran... if it was Blend then you might be ok. I'd suggest trying some Intel Burn Test with a very high stress setting to really test the RAM stability - 20 passes should be good.

The test I ran with Prime95 last night was blended, and it ran for 5+ hours no problems.

I just ran it again for 2 hours and everything is looking good so far. My temps are actually a lot better now, I'm idling at ~35C and maxing out at ~48C under full load.

Is Intel Burn Test another application like Prime95? Could you provide me with a link to the correct download? Google is giving me strange results when I search "intel burn test."

Thanks a ton for the help!

Just finished 10 cycles in IntelBurnTest on High setting and it passed. Will be doing more tonight.

I have an additional fan arriving in the mail tomorrow for my Hyper 212+, and I am considering bumping my OC up a little bit (say 3.6Ghz or possibly even 3.8Ghz). How much of a voltage increase should I give it? Only CPU, or VTT also?

I went ahead and OC'd to 3.8GHz. Here are the settings I used to get it to pass 20 cycles of maximum IntelBurnTest:

CPU: 1.251
VTT: 1.281

Once again thanks a billion for the help guys, super good stuff =]
