My current rig...
antec1200
v1 cpu cooler on a 9950be overclocked to a 3.01
asus crosshair 2 mobo
xfx 9800gtx+ x2
1300watt tagan itz series psu
8g of 1066 g.skill ram
but getting to the point i have been looking at the new amd phenom II x4 965 and i was wondering if this cpu will work on my mobo and how much wiggle room will i have with overclocking.. i dont wont to was the money on this cpu if i am goin to just fry my mobo bec the wattage on the chip is too high??? any help will be appreciated

Wattage wise

9950be > 965

It will work.

Just might need a BIOS update.

thxs will be buying the 965 very soon by any chance how high could i over clock this without frying my mobo???

there are both 140w+125w version of the 9950, make sure ur board can support 140w cpus and get a bios update if you run into any issues
