My OCZ PSU makes way too much noise and I would like to change it for the more silent one.

MY current PSU is : OCZ 700W Gamer XStream SLI (OCZ700GXSSLI)
PC Case: Thermaltake Armor VA8000BWS

Im looking for a 700 UP PSU which is so silent during idle or gaming. Best will be that the heat goes out from the back and not from the side of the PSU.

thank you all!

you really don't need a 750w PSU for that, you could get a couple of those graphics cards in SLI and it wouldn't use that all up.

if you want it to be truly silent then get a silverstone nightjar 450w, they cost a lot but are fanless and have 90% efficiency iirc.

so you have 2 8800GT's?

it would help if you said that.

ok, look at the coolermaster 700w silent pro, you might need a couple of molex to PCIe cable's though, and they easily have enough power, their peak is 840w and you can run dual 4890's on the 600w version of the same series.

for now i cant go sli because i am not able to find the same GPU at the same price i bought it one year ago. I would eventually go sli but with newest GPU,s.

is there a calculator that could help to calculate the amount of WATTS i need for all the hardware i have...
