I'm looking to build a new system this Christmas and I plan on buying a Phenom II X2 550 Black Edition and unlocking the extra two cores (if I'm lucky).

Parts I hope to buy:
CPU - Phenom II X2 550 Black Edition
CPU Cooler/Heatsink - CoolerMaster V8
Memory/RAM - OCZ Obsidian 4GB(2x2GB) 1600Mhz 9-9-9-24 1.65v
Video Card - Sapphire HD 4890 Vapor-X
PSU - OCZ ModXStream 700w Modular 80PLUS
Case - CoolerMaster HAF 922

What motherboard should I get to hopefully unlock the extra cores on the 550BE? I'm looking for one that costs under $100 USD and supports DDR3 memory.

Boards with the Amd 750 and 710 southbridge chipset, the bios must also contain the ACC (advanced clock calibration) option with hybrid, normal options. The manufacturers board description or specifications should say whether this option is included.

Okay thanks for clearing that up. Are there any boards that you would recommend? I know Gigabyte and Asus are trusted brands...

Some of them say they have ACC, but the others don't show anything in that category so I'm unsure if they have it or not.
