Air CPU Cooler Advice (Corsair Vengeance Clearance Issue)

Hi guys,

I’m looking for a CPU cooler that has the clearance to allow me to use Corsair Vengeance memory (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9) whilst still having the power to keep a 2600k cool at over clocks of between 4.6 ~ 5.0 GHz. It would be a bonus if it was a quiet as a Noctua NH D14 swell. The Memory modules are 2.07" / 52.5mm tall as can be seen from this image. Link. Any help / opinions will be greatly appreciated

Thanks for the advice, but i was kind of hoping that i wouldn't have to go down the water cooling route (ive had a bad experience in the past). So if anyone does know of a air cooler that does the job, please advise

This one should clear the sinks and do a decent job...it doesn't list the socket 1155 though..I am still looking hold up

Check out Thermalright Archon,Venomous X,and MUX-120.
Prolimatech Armageddon.
All these coolers are under 65mm wide which offers tall ram compatibility.
All offer excellent cooling and the Thermalrights come with quiet high quality fans.
Btw 1155 and 1156 use the same mounting holes.
That's why you often see 1155 not mentioned.

Thanks for the advice guys. Seems like the Archon is the cooler for me. With solid reviews and the sam quiet fan as the silver arrow it should do the job.
