AMD 720 black edition x3 core OC

hey guys, just wondering what are some stable overclock figures on the standard cooler..

currently running 3.0 ghz (%7) but have heard this cpu can go to 3.6-3.8

3.2GHz and 22ooMHz IMC/NB (if not 24ooMHz) should be a slam duck.

Higher may require volt bumpage. Really higher will require volt bumpage and aftermarket HSF.

Monitor your temps - they will let you know. And most importantly, read your motherboard manual and learn how to reset your CMOS.

cheers man, i tried 3.1 ghz through upping the multiplyer?
but then i got a grf card error,

i think thats my psu, cause i only got a 500, and my card reuires 500 min,
and i run 2 hd's and 3 fans,

so 3.0ghz must be on the limit in terms of psu usage,

What is your card? I really doubt the PSU is the issue, since despite the GPU ratings, most of them won't even use close to that limit.

I think you should look into bumping up the voltages, and adjust the PCI-E clock if possible.
