Hit the "del" key while posting and if you get into the bios, check for the new drive in the first section. If you have an old ide hardrive, set the jumper to the "slave" setting if you want to boot up to your new drive. In the bios, you should be able to change the boot order to cd>hardrive for your windows install if needed. If your old drive still works, use the hardrive software to make an exact copy of the old drive. It will format and set up the new drive then make a copy. Boot up with your old drive, then make the copy while running windows; I use maxblast for maxtor drives; each manufacturer has it's own software, available for free download on their websites.
