Best motherboard for gulftown

I don't trust Intel for using new cpus on older chipset boards. But if you want to gamble, get an asus board. They still have the most bios updates for older boards.

Agreed about intel.
I'm just starting to look for best bet i7 x58 mobo that will best fly with gulftown. So far i like Gigbyte's GA-EX58-EXTREME due to its 24gb @ 2100+ bandwith memory capacity. But, I'm open to all possibilities..like MSI, EVGA , ASUS, etc. What Asus mobo do you like best?

I would go for the asus rampage II; I prefer micro atx boards and smaller cases.
