Reading the NewEgg blurb for the Asus M3N-HT deluxe mobo ... it claims support for 8-Gig 1066 DDR2 ram with an AMD-955 CPU.
Then you read the horror-story reviews of actual lusrs. That 8-Gig / 1066 RAM_support seems to be no-sure-thing. Some get it some don't. At a combo price of only $409 I'm looking hard. But I'm no "Black Forest Dwarf" tweeker, so what's the practical truth about RAM plug-N-play behavior of that CPU/mobo combo ?
0) it's a bullet-proof no_brainer
1) when Everclear freezes over in Hades
2) roll-da-dice sucka
It doesn't officially support four sticks of 1066. It does support two sticks of 4GB. I'm sure if you have problems, you could make it work with additional NB and RAM voltage.
