^ He needs to run dx10 Crysis @ 1920x1080, AAx16, settings @ Ultra High w/ ultra high mod.

Then he'll appreciate what "slow fps" really means.

^ Nice. The uber HDR really makes a world of a difference in very high VS ultra high

This thread has so much fail I can smell it from here.

To the OP, if you are trying to stroke your epeen, go troll somewhere else. Noone is impressed that your daddy bought you a nice computer (which you are running at stock... EWWWW).

If you actually think that is slow (which would require some serious learning disabilities) then I have nothing to say that you could understand.

100+ fps is actually terrible. I mean mr. mydaddyboughtmeasweetpc knows he should be getting waay better

Reply to uncfan_2563

LOL, we now have haters that think my dad bought this... and some cheap ass computers with a 4870 thinking they can actually keep up with the fastest graphics card available. Gotta love these posts. to the haters, thanks for letting me know that my computer is not slow... and reichscythe, post your crysis benchmark on that same webpage and send me a link for verification that your computer is mr. "i'm getting about that on a"

lol, the same reason I brag about my system has more importance than your stupid comment. Examples are people with my same setup trying to find out what their system can handle. I am a "sarcastic" person. Why can't you be more like BlueScreenDeath? He makes posts that actually mean value. And epeen? that stands for electronic penis? sorry, not into nerd talk...
"If you actually think that is slow (which would require some serious learning disabilities)
BlueScreenDeath proved this point where I actually think my setup is still slow trying to run crysis all maxed out. I only get about 17FPS and he still was a good sport to say "nice". And about you thinking my dad purchased my computer... I have to say that from all the information you got on me so far, i think you are the smartest man in the world to figure out that from just what you seen on this website so far... to all the future idiots, I am being sarcast here...

@chris13002
There is no need for this thread.
Everyone on this forum knows that if you have a Core i7, a GTX 295, and 6GB of RAM, you are going to be able to play SF4 maxed out...

I have to agree with daedalus685, this thread reeks of failure...

Most people use it for the word "ego"...

The downside of buzzwords are that although they're effective to use in these forums, you can't use them to pick up chicks. like, you just can't go to supermarket produce section and if you see a hottie inspecting a cucumber, it won't work if you say "My epeen is bigger than that." Not that I've tried.

Is anyone else going to post their score up? I know there are systems that blows mines away. I'll just have to get my dad to get me another GTX 295 or upgrade to 3x SLI 285's...

anything less than 2560*1600 is a waste of that hardware.

Turn the vsync on, you'll get 60fps. If you're below that try to enable triple buffering, it usually helps.

I'm not sure what your point is. Everyone should know what vsync does.. as it is explained in almost every check box that enables it that it syncs the FPS with a fraction (not always 1:1) of the refresh rate.

Beyond that, who even mentioned v-sync?

I was being sarcastic. Sorry about that. It's rather obvious (although not for some) that this thread is all about new acquired hardware, not performance in SF4.

The OP did, dude. My advice was the best I could do to contribute to this thread. I'm trying to earn that "addict" title before winter.

Yes, I was the one pointing out the failure of this thread.. You are just adding to the pile of already steamy festering ***. There is no point posting garbage just to up your post count, unless your goal is to be as renound as successful troll in uselessness..

For future reference, please make a new thread if you have a problem. :D
Now about your problem, have you tried updating your drivers? Also, try playing the card with lowered settings and at least see if it is playable.
What CPU do you have?

First off, Crysis isn't the game in question, you opened this thread TRYING to be humorous, spoutin' off about your "oh so impressive" STREET FIGHTER IV benchmarks... and i'm here to say I'm more than a little UNDERWHELMED that your fully-loaded, top-dollar, fresh-off-the-product-line system, featuring the "FASTEST GRAPHICS CARD AVAILABLE" -- the one you clearly sunk so much cash into just so you could come, quite proudly, spec-boast in a forum-- clocks a max framerate (with all details up) that's only about 2FPS faster than my 2 year old Dual Core with a 512MB RAM vid card in SFIV...

That said, since you wanna bring Crysis into this? Yeah... okay... so your computer stomps mine (especially at higher resolutions)... but you know what? 1) I made it through the game averaging about 30FPS - Very High @ 1368 X 768... not exactly impressive, but certainly playable and enjoyable... 2) Crysis is about the only game that taxes ANY system this gen and 3) my SFIV benches still rival yours...

Your computer seems to be right on par to me with your components nothing special for the price you paid but you should be happy now till the gtx300 series comes out, or the i9's and so forth by the end of this year.

My computer with a q9450 and 2x8800gts 512mb graphic cards using the same default settings at 1280x720 with vsync off ran at 21972 so its right around the ball park that it should be compared to yours with inferior computer parts.

with uping the resolution to 1920x1200 all high and no aa or anisotropy. I got 17792 and with aa at C16xA not C16xAQ, and anisotropy at 16x I got 6702. So by ratio your computer out performs mine right about where it should, not much noticable difference though. My question for you is will your computer really out perform my 1.5 year old computer when I replace my 2x8800gts that I own with 2xgtx3?? I think you purchased at the wrong time sorry.

Reply to Anonymous

Oh yeah one more thing reich___ what ever your name is I owned a 5600x2 before my computer now I think your settings are off when at higher resolutions the difference between hardware is more similar so if your running at all high 1920x1200 without any aa or anisotropy. Or at the highest your graphic card can support which is not c16xAA or c16xAQ then even 3870 should be able to reach an 8000 score but when you test at the same speed 1280x720 at default it gives a good comparison for all graphic cards that can not run the same settings including aa or anisotropy. Make sure your testing at the same settings we know your not because 4870 doesn't support c16xAQ or c16xAA or c16xA now does it.

Hi all, I have just installed SF 4 and the game is going pretty slow when i play arcade or versus mode. FPS is 40 and game looks like it is on some slow motion. I checked if I can fix it in game options but there is no help there. Then I jumped on Google to try to find some help and found this forum. Any help from you guys?

Well my problem is fixed, I set resolution to 1360x1024 and I got 60 fps and game is going perfectly.

Hurrah!
