Hey guys, I went and got myself a HIS HD 4850 IceQ 4 turbo yesterday and installed it. The driver CD that it came with didn't actually work. It gave me an error saying that the card on my system does not match the drivers. So i went and downloaded the latest driver from the net and installed that. Heres the problem, I set my resolution on 1280x1024 but every time i reboot, the resolution goes down to 640x480 with 8bits of colour. why is it doing that?

Please help

My pc spec are as follows:

OS - xp pro sp3
motherboard - p5n-e sli
cpu - core duo 6420 @ 2.13ghz
2gb ram

Did you make sure to uninstall the drivers from your previous card?
