Quad or Duo

I have replaced my Intel Duo e6750 with aIntel Quad Q8400 & I have noticed it only seems to work as a DUO ???

Are you sure its Q8400, not E8400? Q is quad and E is dual core. You can upgrade bios and see in Task Manager if you have two or four graphs.

When I used CPUZ it says its a Quad but it only has 2 Threads & 2 Cores.
When I used the Vista Benchmark Tool the E6750 had a rating of 5.5 & the Q8400 has a rating of 5.5
