I have already ordered the parts for my new build from newegg.com. After doing this I further researched and learned about rails and amps per rail. Now im questioning my decision on this power supply or if it will work with the video card. I'm on a super tight budget so really would like this to work.

Here are the 2 items in question:

Power supply

COOLER MASTER eXtreme Power RS550-PCARE3-US 550W ATX12V V2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Power Supply

Video Card

PNY VCGGTX260CXPB GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 896MB 448-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI

Thank you in advance for your help and support.

That PSU will be fine for one GTX 260.But if you decide to get another and run SLI,you will need a 650watt PSU with 45amps on the 12volt rail minimum.Have fun.
