Failed Hard Drive

my 40Gb fujitsu hard drive won't spin up! Anything I can do? (I've already tried sending it back to fujitsu but they voided the warranty because the plastic surrounding the connector pins was chipped)

Ooo oily oh boily, will I be some fresh jazz kill by 3!

If it ain't gonna work, stick a floppy drive type power plug in teh place where the pins are supposed to be and watch what happens
