hi,
i am going to upgrade my mobo to a msi 750i and i currently have a socket 775 pentium 4 and i was just wondering if the 2 are compatible until i can afford a new dual core. i dont need any garbage on how old and lame p4's are i just want to know if it will work for a while.

if i remenber correctly it should work but it will depent the FSB of the cpu you have is it 533? 800? or 1066? that board should support all those speeds anyway.

ok thanks a million, the pentium 4 has a 800 mhz FSB.
