Maxtor 750 Gb diamond max 22 stm3750330as not detecting

hi all ,
i really need help , i have my own shop and doing flashing and unlocking etc of Gsm mobiles , i have core2duo processor , Intel 945 main board , 2 Gb ram , Maxtor 750 Gb diamond max 22 stm3750330as hard disk , two days ago i shut down my pc and after 10 min i trun on it , as i turn on my harddisk did not detect , i did not feel any noise from harddisk when i plug power to hard disk its acting like normal but did not detect in bios , i really need all data from it , i was make backup but it old , one of my Friend asked me if you repair harddisk's Bios then it can work like it was , so is there any chance to repair it ?

Beware & stay far away!
Since Maxtor merged or got bought out by Seagate their stuff turned to junk!
I use to only use Maxtor drives, but had trouble with them just as they merged with them.
I use only Western Digital drives now.....
