GPU hd6950

Hey guys. I'm so confused. I'm trying to buy hd6950 with dual bios but can't tell which ones have them. Any way possible to list the item numbers? Much appreciated.

well any referance base modle will have the switch. SO the one with the sealed case and one fan. Also you could just double check and look at the zoomable pics on new egg

non reference 6950's with 2GB mem can also be unflashable such as the MSI Twin Frozer 6950 it has no switch. I will say after much experimenting I had a flashed XFX 6950 that was great however it seems MSI's Twin Frozer is a more capable card. I have mine OCed to 925mhz core and 1400mhz mem and it scores higher on benches than my flsed XFX 6950. Also I was getting some artifacts with my XFX flashed and at 6970 clocks. So I would recomend the Twin Frozer modle based on 3 things

1:It does run much cooler ( my xfx once flased was hitting 80-90c with good amount of game play the msi twin frozer has yet to his 70c and thats with a massive OC)

2: Its much quieter. Im the first to say that noise is not an issue BUT. If its cooler and quieter with the same performance thats a win. And that brings me to....

3: With this OC im getting better results than my flashed XFX wile being quieter and cooler

Still confused. Very new to this. I am planning on the 2gb, but can't tell on new egg which has the dual bios. Recommendation?
