Used space doesn't add up.

OK, so I have a 160GB secondary HDD with apparently about 20GB free space, but when highlighting all folders & files [hidden as well] and checking how large they are: 45GB.
I think I've seen this here before but couldn't find it.
I've had this problem before and found things like full Recycle Bins, etc.

There is an excellent utility named windirstat that will scan the drive and tell you where the space is. For some reason, there is an option that you have to set to show "hidden" space.

I suggest that you download that utility, try it, and let us know if it helps.
