The X31 freezes after about 2 minutes when running on battery. I have tried another battery and this did not resolve the problem
The machine starts up ok but then locks and there is no way to turn it off.

You may want to go into the power settings in windows and check how the systems is set up to operate when it is running on the battery.

I checkd the power options in control panel and that is fine for battery...or are you referring to somewhere else to check t power settings ?...If so where is this
