Hello All,

I have a laptop which is about 4 years old. I have windows 2000 in it.
My keyboard on the laptop doesnot work well. So I tried connecting a
PS/2 external keyboard using PS2 to USB converter and plugged it into
my USB port since it does not have PS2 port. It recocnizes it as an
Unknown Hardware and says "An error occured during the installation of
the device. The installation failed because a function driver was not
specified for this device instance."

Can anybody please suggest me what the problem could be? Is it the
drivers i need to install? If so what drivers since it is actually a
PS/2 keyboard used as USB with a converter. Thank you in advance.
