I cant overclock my amd 3000 socket 939 after bios 1011 update

Hi, I have a ASUS A8V-E Deluxe motherboard/VIA K8T890 chipset with a Winchester Socket 939 AMD 3000+ processor with stock settings (FSB 200 x 9 Multiplier = 1800 Mhz). So far i have been very pleased with how it handles games and applications. Now I'd like to overclock it cause I can't play some games (i.e Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 / Far Cry 2 / Brother in Arms Hell's Highway) which require at least 2.0 Ghz processor speed. I've just updated my BIOS (from 1005 to 1011) in order to get a chance to overclock manually my CPU but still can't do it. Yet the new BIOS won't let me. Can anybody help me solve this issue ASAP please?

  1. You will have to be more specific, exactly what are you trying to do that the BIOS "won't let you"?
  2. I want to get a 2403 Mhz processor speed by increasing the FSB to 267 Mhz. At least so I read from some forum. But the options in BIOS are disabled. This is my first time and I don't really want to screw up. Can you tell me the steps please?
