Do I have to remove metal backplate on Asrock P67 pro3?

If I want to install the Hyper 212 backplate or do I just leave that metal backplate there and install it over it or remove it?

Hi and welcome to Tom's forum.

You HAVE to install the backplate, the one that comes with the mobo isn't the best.
