Hi, I'm building a new computer and I was wondering if this power supply Antec earthwatts EA500 500W Continuous Power ATX12V v2.0 SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371007 is enough for the XFX GX260NADFF GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 896MB 448-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150329

In the specs on the 260 it says a minimum 630w is required, but I've had other people tell me that the 500w power supply is fine. What do you guys think? Thanks. :)

According to nVidia, a single GTX 260 only Requires a 500w PSU.
As your Antec Earthwatts is a high quality unit, it will have no issues running your system with a single GPU.
If you are planning on running two GTX 260's in SLI, I would recommend a Corsair, PCP&C, Seasonic, Enermax or Antec Earthwatts 650w+ PSU.

Yes it will run fine i have the same psu while running 2 gtx260 overclocked. Generally the performance of the two cards are similar depending on the game.
