Random Ads after accidental download

I accidently downloaded and extracted something that I cant find. Whenever I'm searching through google and I click on whatever I'm looking for, I get taken to random sites with ads. In order to get them to go away I have to keep clicking back then trying the website again before it brings up what I'm actually looking for. Any ideas on how to get rid of whatever is causing this?

Download and install the free version then do a full scan. When it finishes let it remove everything it finds.
