To Xfire or not to Xfire?

Hi,

Im considering buying another 4850 to Xfire with the existing one in my system. I understand that with dual video cards many issues can arise such as MicroStuttering, and the gain can be minimal. However iv also seen reviews of some great improvements with crossfire and SLI. My power should be sufficient and no other upgrades should be required in order to accomodate this.

OCZ Stealth XStream 600W PSU
Gigabyte GA-MA790X-DS4 790X
AMD Phenom II X4 940
6GB DDR2 800 RAM
HD 4850 w/ Akasa VORTEXX Neo
Vista Ultimate 64 bit sp2
22" LG Flatron 1650x1050

Im still not entirely sure about the upgrade, can anyone advise me on this matter?
