So i got my pc build , weeks ago with hd 5770 wanted to get more juice out of it with little O.C nothink major , downloaded msi afterburner and furmark , at first 900/ 1400 furmark crashed , and if i even set 880/ 1200 it crashes even then , what could be the prob ? runned 900/1300 on dirt 2 for awhile didn't crash / fps boost was ~5'ish tho , Oh yeah im total newbie at O.C , so whats that vcore ? i have to change that too ?i checked the unlock core voltage in msi afterburner but still cant acces it .

i dont like using furmark. it crashes me even when i have a stable OC.



you shouldnt need to change the Vcore till you get around the 1ghz area on the core.

have it set at 900/1300. play dirt 2 for a bit. and then check your temps.

and yea 1400 is to heavy on the memory. mine cant go above 1340. but i got to 1040 on the core

fix core at ~930-950 for core, then start memory from 1250 and up.

I run mine at 960/1350 no issues and no voltage tweaks,
as mentioned though, watch temps and go easy
