Corsair HX 620

Does the fan blow air into the PSU or out of it?

The fan on the Corsair HX 620 blows/pulls air into the psu where it flows through the psu components and exhausts out the back.

Gee! That was the easiest question and the shortest answer today.

lol thanks Johnny...

I never really thought about it before, but the air flow direction became an issue with a new build. :bounce:

I was searching for this because I just noticed that my HX620 pulls air from outside into the computer. Why?

ajhoey - what is the orientation of your psu? Which pc case do you have? Is the psu mounted in the top/rear of the case or the bottom/rear of the case?

Top/rear mounted in Silverstone Temjin TJ03. Even though the PSU is intaking air, I dont have any heat problems whatsoever. With the CPU overclock listed below and under full Prime95 load it doesnt get above 58c.

E8400 3.0 GHz @ 4.12 (516x8)
