How cheap?

Or overclock your 5000+ or your 4850.

the gpu is maxed out, and me mobo is pap no overclocking for me! i would need a new mobo

Only suggestion aside from buy a whole new rig would be to pop a 6000+ in there, though the small gains may not be worth the $$.

its not worth it for such a smal increase oh well i will just have to live with it for a couple of months, thanks anyway

You could be get a kuma 720 or a 6400+, or an athlon II X2...which is your budget?

would it be worth getting a half decent cheap mobo and overclocking it? its not a black edition so no unlocked multiplier but should have no probs getting it to 3ghz and get some cheap 800 ram

Athlon II or Phenom II will not work as it is only AM2 m/b.

Not really worth doing anything, save for new PC. Only thing You could do is to get some more RAM

Any decent cheap AM2+ boards where you are? Should allow you to overclock your current CPU, and pop a new CPU in when you get the $$$ again. It won't double your frame rates, but it sounds like you need a new board anyways.
